Vintage Industrial Electricraft Crate Trunk Foot Locker Folk Art Handmade

Here's an interesting find, a large blue trunk.  It was obviously hand built from plywood and painted by someone.  Whatever it was built to house is a mystery, as we found the trunk empty.  Whatever it held was sizable - the dimensions of this trunk are quite large and a bit hard to grasp from the pictures - it measures 48 1/4" x 22 3/4" x 18".  The inside of the trunk is slightly smaller, as you would expect, it measures 46 3/4" x 21 1/2" x 16 5/8".  The plywood sides are a tad bowed from age and storage and push out a bit if the trunk is not latched.  The trunk does shut and can be locked.  It's not very heavy, about 35 pounds.  This would make a great display piece.
