This was an extremely special blanket to designer Dedri Urys of the popular This blanket was inspired by the beautiful colours of the Namaqualand flowers and the memories that they evoke of the celebrations of Lentedag or 'Spring Day' in South Africa. After making the original version of this blanket in Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn Dedri had always wondered how it would turn out in Scheepjes Colour Crafter Velvet. Her good friend Pat made this version and it's looking beautiful!
